Li Foundation (LIF) received the ‘Corporate Giving Inspiration Award’ for our SportCares – Li Foundation Multisport Programme from President Halimah Yacob at the SportCares 10YA Dinner that took place at Our Tampines Hub on 19th November 2022.
A photo exhibition supported by LIF was put together to showcase the celebration of the lives SportCares have touched and their achievements in the past 10 years. Every photo tells the stories of people they serve and highlights the values of SportCares.
Working with LIF’s strategic partner, A.D.A Productions, Ms. Ada Zhang led the project with SportCares volunteer, Team Nila and SportCares youth photographers. Workshops were also conducted to mentor the youths and ignite their passion in photography. Roving photo exhibitions at various locations are lined up to allow our wider community to have a chance to catch a glimpse of these photos kicking off from the ActiveSG Pasir Ris Sport Centre from 20th November 2022.
Sports is something very close to my heart and has made a positive impact in my life. I believe sports can help individuals build confidence, discipline and strengthen our minds. On a community and societal level, sports bring people together. This way our community becomes closer and more robust.
