After several months of planning and integration, we proudly present to you our latest community project, Code For All (“CFA”). This is in collaboration with the Singapore American School (“SAS”) and one of our community partners, Persatuan Pemudi Islam Singapura.

CFA, a coding club set up by a group of enthusiastic and talented student officers at the SAS, aims to empower inspired children of Singapore with computer science and coding skills. A 10-week Scratch and Java program curriculum is specially designed to facilitate learning for the students of different levels through Google slides and interactive coding applications.
Supervised weekly lessons are currently conducted online for the students at 2 https://ppis.sg/ student care centres located in Jurong and Bedok. A coding corner has been set up at each centre for them to attend lessons as well as practise and revise during their spare time. Physical lessons will resume as soon as the COVID-19 situation improves.
Li Foundation is honoured to be part of this innovative and impactful project. As we integrate with more community partners in the next 5 years and beyond, peers of the current batch of student officers aim to continuously connect and expose more children to the world of technology. This translates to a multiplier effect resulting in a magnified impact.
PPIS is a non-profit organisation which aims to connect local communities in Singapore through learning. Their Student Care Centres focus on nurturing children through empowerment and they strongly believe in the importance of instilling moral values, as well as equipping their children with life skills that they can take with them wherever they go.
The book showcases how the participants challenged their limits and conquered the World Marathon Challenge and North Pole Marathon to inspire people to challenge their own limits and pursue their dreams boldly.
The book tells the stories behind the event which saw the largest number of people in history running 1045km round Taiwan in 19 days.
